What appears here

Only items certified by PSA/DNA, JSA, Beckett, SGC or CGC. A seller’s own certificate of authenticity is not a weaker version of those - it is a different claim entirely, and listing it alongside them would imply otherwise.

What this index will not tell you

Whether a signature is genuine. That judgement belongs to the authenticators, and a photograph cannot support it. This site reports what a recognised company certified and stops there.

Authenticated and graded are different things

Most certified autographs carry no numeric grade at all: the company confirmed the signature and said nothing about how well it was written. A minority are graded, usually 1 to 10. Those are separate markets and this index keeps them apart.

Asking prices and sales

An asking price is what a seller hopes for. A confirmed sale is recorded only after a listing verifiably ends, at the price eBay reports. Where a best offer was accepted the true figure is not published, so those appear as a ceiling rather than a number this index does not have.

Items signed by more than one person

They appear on every signer’s page, marked as such, but are left out of the price ranges. An item signed by two people is not a comparable for one.
