What does a Mark Hamill autograph cost?
From under eighty dollars to ten thousand. A deep and accessible base of convention material, with a small number of items at the top trading in a different market entirely.
What of his gets signed most often?
Photographs lead, with cards and a large miscellaneous category close behind across ten item types. He also has one of the larger Funko counts on this index, which is a modern collecting category that barely existed for most of the signers here.
Why is almost none of his market graded?
Around 94 per cent of his certified items carry an authentication rather than a numeric autograph grade. That is the normal state for an entertainment signer whose material comes from conventions and private signings, and it says nothing about the quality of the signature.
Signatures are reproduced more often than most buyers realise, by outright forgery and also by machines and assistants signing on somebody’s behalf. Every item on this page has been examined by PSA/DNA, JSA, Beckett, SGC or CGC, and this index carries nothing else. That is a deliberate restriction, and the investigation that created the modern authentication industry is worth reading, along with what a certificate actually claims.
