What does a Novak Djokovic autograph cost?
From a little over a hundred dollars to the mid thousands, a moderate range. Tennis produces fewer signable objects than team sports, and the market here reflects that.
What of his gets signed most often?
Cards lead across only seven item types, one of the narrower mixes on this index. Tennis has no equivalent of the signed baseball or the game-used jersey market, so the collectible is largely the card.
Why is almost none of his market graded?
Around 95 per cent of certified Djokovic items carry no numeric autograph grade. Tennis signatures are mostly gathered at tournaments and through the post rather than through manufacturer signings, so they arrive authenticated rather than scored.
Signatures are reproduced more often than most buyers realise, by outright forgery and also by machines and assistants signing on somebody’s behalf. Every item on this page has been examined by PSA/DNA, JSA, Beckett, SGC or CGC, and this index carries nothing else. That is a deliberate restriction, and the investigation that created the modern authentication industry is worth reading, along with what a certificate actually claims.
